Position Overview

Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant/Accounting Analyst to join their team in California. working onsite. This role is pivotal in ensuring the integrity of financial information and will be instrumental in supporting the company's financial processes.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established accounting standards.
  • Perform comprehensive financial analysis to support strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Utilize strong NetSuite skills to maintain and analyze financial data efficiently.
  • Collaborate with various departments to gather and analyze financial information, ensuring data integrity.
  • Prepare detailed financial reports and statements to present to senior management.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of financial controls and procedures to streamline processes.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
  • Provide support during audits and assist in preparing audit schedules and documentation.
  • Stay updated with current accounting trends and best practices to enhance the accounting function.
  • Maintain a 100% onsite presence to support collaborative work and efficient communication with team members.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in accounting with a focus on financial analysis and reporting.
  • Strong proficiency in NetSuite and other accounting software.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities to meet deadlines effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Property Management, Real Estate, HOA experience helpful but not required.

Required Work Hours

The position requires a commitment to work from Monday to Friday, with onsite presence ensuring effective collaboration and communication.

Benefits

Competitive pay ranging from $35 to $43 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional benefits may be discussed during the hiring process.
